Our Story:
In the Spring of 2000, Mohamed Merchant opened the doors of Merchant's Art & Paper, with the help of his daughter, Meena. Gradually their little shop in Redmond grew to be known as the place to go for custom invitations and beautiful papers.

In 2003, Jennifer Slocum joined the Merchant's Team. She brought her background in architecture and her love of graphic design to the Northwest from the East Coast. She makes up an integral part of the Merchant's Design team.

In 2007, Merchant's packed it up and moved to a new showroom in Kent where they could focus more on custom wedding and corporate designs. They also changed their name to Merchant's Paper & Design, as an indicator of their new and refined focus.

At Merchant's we are a part of the community. What makes us who we are is you, the loyalty of our clients who, year after year, entrust us with all of their most important life events.
